Psychobabble

People informed by ideas of pop psychology think they are wise and good, which is what they want to believe, but they are wrong. The religion of psychology preaches self esteem and self fulfillment. The religion of Jesus preaches humility and self sacrifice.

Advice of pop psychologists and authors or celebrities influenced by them:

Be yourself and run your life by what you know to be right and in harmony with your spiritual essence.

Wayne Dyer

What I am is good enough if I would only be it openly.

Carl Rogers

I no longer agree to treat myself with disrespect. Every time a self-critical thought comes to mind, I will forgive the Judge and follow this comment with words of praise, self-acceptance, and love.

Miguel Ruiz

Activating your self-love is the first step towards any type of psychological growth and personal improvement.

Walter Riso

The most important thing you have to realize in your life is knowing your self worth and by knowing your self worth you would finally get to know what you deserve. And then you’ll be able to work for what you deserve.

Phil McGraw

Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.
