Spectacular Carnaval parade at the Cambodromo. As much about shooting big water guns and foam spray cans as watching the parade. Anyone in the parade or the audience is fair game. The Carnaval in Santa Cruz also has the custom of throwing paint. Some of us got “painted” with blue or purple ink, which can’t be completely removed from your clothes.
